1. The service
MainLayer provides an endpoint agent, a hosted control plane and a web portal that let an organization observe, govern, protect and measure the use of AI coding tools by its developers. The organization that creates an account (the “customer”) is responsible for the people it invites and the devices it enrolls.
2. Accounts and seats
The customer designates administrators who manage the account. The service is priced per monitored developer seat; administrators, managers and viewers do not require seats. The customer must ensure it has the right, under applicable law and its own policies, to monitor AI development activity on enrolled devices, and must inform the affected developers.
3. Acceptable use
The customer agrees not to use the service to collect data the agent is not designed to collect, to attempt to circumvent tenant isolation, to reverse engineer the service except as permitted by law, or to resell it without written agreement.
4. Customer data
Customer data remains the customer's. MainLayer processes it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy, and returns or deletes it at termination. Content-collection modes are enabled only by the customer's explicit configuration.
5. Availability and support
We aim for high availability but the service is provided without a guaranteed uptime during early access. Endpoint hooks fail open so that an outage does not block developers. Support is provided by email at [email protected].
6. Fees
Fees are stated in the order or online plan the customer accepts and are invoiced monthly per monitored seat unless agreed otherwise. Early-access pricing may change with 30 days' notice.
7. Term and termination
Either party may terminate with 30 days' notice. We may suspend the service for material breach of these terms or for security reasons, with notice where practicable. On termination the customer may export its data for 30 days, after which it is deleted.
8. Warranties and liability
The service is provided “as is”. Attribution, adoption and cost figures are estimates that carry a stated confidence and must not be the sole basis for employment decisions. To the extent permitted by law, MainLayer's aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months preceding the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms with notice to administrators; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and disputes are subject to the courts of Istanbul, unless a signed agreement states otherwise.
